    We visited the UP for a wedding and missed out on the pasties. So next best thing…I ordered them for his birthday. What a fun fun gift to remember our Michigander roots

    We had these tonight for dinner and I think you could hear the yumminess through the neighborhood! My Great Grandparents are from Calumet, My Grandfather grew up in Calumet and it was a staple in there diet! We have gotten together and made home made years ago but it is not something i do on my own. This was absolutely the best!! Thank you!

    My dad grew up in Muskegon, MI and loves these pasties. He was visiting my family in NY from FL and I thought it would be a great surprise. He loved it. In addition to that, Lawry’s made sure that I didn’t overpay for shipping and that it got here in time! Thank you.

    Background: My father – Raymond Kemp – was born (1907) and raised in Ishpeming. My Aunt Laura – wife of Jim Kemp – was the go-to-person when it came to making pasties. (We’re taking 60+ years ago now with suet crust, rutabagas, and the whole bit.) Times change. Recipes are tweaked. But your pasties brought back to me the delicious memories of those my Aunt Laura made. Thank you. Thank you so much.

    These were not bad – good flavor, good crust. I’ve had better. Need more packing ice – the ones at the top of the shipping box were completely thawed out and only the ones in the bottom of the shipping box were frozen –

    Bought these for my uncle’s 90th birthday. His parents and two siblings were born in Cornwall before moving to Michigan. I thought it would be a special treat and he was very pleased. The service was great and I’d order them again.

    I had purchased the regular pasties and had them delivered to my home before, but this batch is very flavorful! I am so excited to be serving them for Easter dinner as many of my family has never tried them before. (We live in southern Michigan). I am positive they will be a hit!
